What is your story? What do you believe the future holds for you?
If you are like many, then you have goals and dreams that you would like to achieve in your life. We don’t know what our future holds, but we do hope that it is full of peace, good relationships, success is all parts of our lives and most importantly to be healthy. What we don’t plan is to be sick in our future, to be full of disease and illness. But did you know that the average Canadian will live their last 10 years of their life in sickness and disease? The average life span of Canadians is 78. So you’re telling me that when we retire at age 65, the time when we are “suppose” to enjoy our lives, the average Canadian will find themselves sick for the remaining years of their life? Something is truly wrong with this picture.
Here’s why I believe this is happening. Your health needs to be an investment. Let’s take your financial retirement fund for example. Most people know to start saving for retirement in their 20’s and 30’s so that by the time they are 65 they have enough saved for their retirement years. Health must be viewed the same way.
We MUST focus on preserving our health in our 20’s and 30’s, by exercising regularly, eating nutritious foods regularly, dealing with stress properly and most importantly be under regular chiropractic care. Since your brain is the source of all our health and healing, we must make sure that our brain is able to communicate optimally to our body in order to truly be healthy and function properly. If we were to live our lives from the beginning in such a way, I honestly believe the average Canadian wouldn’t find themselves sick in their final decade of their life.
A healthy life for you and your family can be summarized with: eat well, think well, live well and get your spine checked regularly. Key word is regular. Consistency in healthy habits is crucial to a healthy life.
So I’ll ask you again, what’s your story going to be?
